BLIND DATE EXHIBITION

Miroslav Kraljevic Gallery

With  Anne-Marie Copestake (Scotland, Glasgow)

International project - collaboration of Scottish and Croatian artist from different socio-political and cultural environments. Two artist who didn't know each other met. In a month they worked together to create an exhibition.

''Lights were filtered red, the black TV box was padded with shaggy reddish fabric. The red armchair was borrowed to improve the condition of perception, in addition it was strengthened by the poignant aroma of Indian incense.''

''The structure was meant for a hedonistic audience….''

'' In spite of this the obvious de-erotization of the floral motive was surprising. Close shots of flowers in full bloom, stamen, petals, pistils and soft tissues, the images of real flowers combined with artificial and contrasted with dry roses discreetly placed in the tall yellow vase behind the TV set, alluded to ephemeral like so many XVII century still lives where abundance was a messenger of doom.''
